My 2 Favorite Spinal Exercises
Spring has indeed sprung here in Raleigh.
The warmer weather brings us all out of hibernation with lots of yard projects and outdoor home projects to be done. That means lots of bending over to remove weeds, lifting and carrying bags of mulch, digging holes for new plants and bushes, as well as cranking up the weed eater and lawn mower. All of this activity of course comes after not moving very much all winter and inevitably leads to a lot of back and neck pain.
Lack of movement and poor posture over time lead to spinal stiffness and dysfunction. Vertebral joints get locked up and motion at that level becomes restricted and sets the spine up for injury. We need movement in all the spinal joints to be healthy to have the lowest risk of back or neck injury.
I want to review with you my two favorite exercises for your spine that can help you avoid back and neck pain not just in the spring but all year round. Ideally these exercises should be done everyday to keep you feeling and moving great.
The video is placed here on our website so it easy to see and understand how to do the exercises properly. In addition, the video will always be here to reference if you forget how to do them as well as ensure you can share them with friends and family who you think could benefit from them.
Doing these exercises everyday will help you feel great and pain free this spring and help your lawn and yard look great too. Your neighbors will be so jealous.
Thank you for letting me be your Chiropractor.
